G10 and FR4 glass epoxy sheets are made from glass fiber cloth and resin. The glass fiber cloth provides support and, when filled with resin, is shaped into sheets for convenient transportation and cutting. The finished G10 and FR4 glass epoxy sheets have excellent insulation and electrical resistance properties. Some customized products also have antistatic, corrosion-resistant, chemical-resistant, high-temperature-resistant, and aging-resistant properties. It can replace many traditional materials.

Although electrical insulation is its main use, it is also widely used in the aerospace industry, such as for manufacturing aircraft and spacecraft components, such as structural components, insulation boards, and radar systems. It is also used in the manufacture of engine components such as valve covers, timing gears, and distribution covers. Special G10 and FR4 sheets are also used to manufacture high-strength plates, structural beams, and other building components.
